About MASA

MASA is a project of the State of Israel and the and Jewish communities around the world, represented by the Jewish Agency and its partners, the Federations of North America, and Keren Hayesod - UIA.
MASA was created to encourage young Jews, ages 18-30, from around the world to build a lasting relationship with Israel, strengthen their Jewish identity, and gain meaningful and beneficial experiences by participating in a 5-10 month program in Israel. Prospective participants must first apply to participate in the Israel Pathways program of their choice prior to receiving MASA funding.
Eligible participants receive minimum grants of $3,000 for a 5-month program and $4,500 for a 10-month program. Additional need-based scholarships also available on a case-by-case basis. Learn More: MASA Funding.
